Anita’s style leans toward the abstract and some impressionist, combining the two to create sense of feeling rather than paint a picture. Art to her is the expression of her inner balance, a process of positive energy pouring forth, a state of childlike happiness achieved. She has also been influenced by Richard Diebenkorn, a contemporary American abstract artist from California, and her European experiences. Another one of her favorite artists whom she views as a mentor for her impressionistic style is renowned artist Alan Wolton of Sedona, Arizona. |
